Wincanton extends logistics partnership with Whittard of Chelsea

Wincanton has renewed its long-standing partnership with tea and coffee specialist Whittard of Chelsea, building on a relationship that began in 2012.

The new deal will see Wincanton manage both online and retail fulfilment from its Northampton e-fulfilment centre, covering everything from storage and order processing to stock distribution for UK stores and international partners.

For online customers, the company will handle all aspects of order fulfilment, including storage, picking and packing, and delivery across the UK and international markets. On the B2B side, Wincanton will oversee the flow of stock to Whittard’s UK stores, e-commerce platforms, and wholesale partners worldwide, helping to keep products on shelves throughout the year.

The renewed contract also covers a range of value-added services, such as meeting certification standards for international shipping and offering product personalisation options, from customised blends to gift wrapping and personalised messages.

Whittard said the renewal will support its UK and global growth, while Wincanton highlighted strong operational performance to date, including 99.99% picking accuracy.
