With more than 35 years of experience across HMRC and formerly HM Customs & Excise, Mike brings extensive expertise in excise policy, customs, and regulatory operations. He currently leads work covering holding and movement policy, including excise warehousing, EMCS, duty free and drawback, alongside key areas such as the Windsor Framework.
Throughout his career, Mike has also led on excise policy for EU Exit and tobacco policy, with a strong background in excise and customs compliance, investigation and detection.
