Taking place on Friday 6th September 2024, the event drew a diverse audience of business leaders and professionals, all of which were eager to engage and network with their peers.

MP Hollinrake, the Member of Parliament for Thirsk and Malton and also the Shadow Secretary of State for Business and Trade, delivered a keynote address which was informative, well-structured, and grounded in his own professional experience, which allowed for a practical perspective on policies that directly affect the business community.
He spoke candidly about the challenges and opportunities facing businesses post-Brexit and post-pandemic, emphasising the importance of government support and innovation in driving future growth. He also praised the training, support and guidance that the BWA provide.

Attendees provided positive feedback for the event, that not only provided valuable insights into the future of UK business policy but also offered an excellent networking opportunity in a prestigious venue.

The event reaffirmed the BWA’s commitment to supporting those involved in the excise and customs industry.
Our thanks go to Kevin Hollinrake for speaking at this years event and to our event sponsors London City Bond, JJX Logistics and Langdon Customs & Excise Solutions Ltd.
