Their latest concoction, a 42.5% ABV rum, is crafted using rum obtained from three distinct distilleries around the world: a single-estate molasses rum hailing from the Philippines, a high-ester pot still rum originating from Ghana, and a cane juice rum derived from Vietnam.
Holyrood aim to source rums from producers, around the world, that use 100% locally grown sugarcane.
The distiller, which also produces gin and whisky, also recently secured over £2 million in funding, which is being used to support its plans for global expansion.
