Customers are seeking greater flexibility in the logistics market and Kinaxia have been developing a range of on-demand services which provide customers with the agility to scale up and down as volumes, promotions and seasonality dictate.
Their new partnership with Prologis UK, in Northamptonshire, is a great example of delivering on that strategy.
The new building, at Prologis Park in Wellingborough West, known as DC4, can accommodate approximately 70,000 pallets and is expected to support between 10 and 30 customers at once.
Kinaxia Logistics will oversee operations on the site and will work alongside Visku and their Pallet Hotel platform to manage inbound receipts, insurance, and outbound fulfilment for customers.
