This project marks the first phase of upgrades to Scotstoun Stadium, the main athletics venue for the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
Works include removal of the existing athletics track, sub-base preparation and installation of a new asphalt layer by our specialist surfacing division, Woodholme Construction, ahead of the new world-class track installation.
Phase 2 is scheduled to begin following the Glasgow Warriors’ 2025/26 season and will conclude before the Games commence on 23rd July 2026.
