Chris was involved with the BWA for many years and was one of our original Honorary Members and was also on the BWA committee until 2015.
Throughout his career Chris worked in various roles within the customs and excise industry, including as an Excise Policy Manager for HM Customs & Excise, as Group Duty Manager with The Co-operative Group and as an Independent Consultant, supporting the BWA by providing advisory services to companies involved in Excise warehousing, including those aspiring to be approved by HMRC.
Chris also had a great personal interest in vintage buses. He enjoyed volunteering at a Manchester based bus museum for many years.
He will be sadly missed and our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
