The new investment comes after they initially took a minority stake in the company almost 6 years ago.
Teeling now becomes part of Bacardi’s portfolio, serving as the exclusive Irish whiskey brand. In addition to Teeling, Bacardi also possesses various other renowned brands such as Grey Goose, Bombay Sapphire gin, Bacardi Rum and Dewar’s whisky.
Teeling Whiskey will be distributed by Bacardi in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria from 1st January 2024. The brand will then be taken to Sweden in February, and Belgium in March.
