£16 million boost to transform truckstops for lorry drivers

A total of 38 truck stops across England are set to undergo enhancements, including the installation of new shower facilities and restaurants. Additionally, there will be an implementation of improved security measures with the addition of secure fencing around rest areas. Furthermore, new parking spaces specifically designed for Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) will be introduced.
