The Bonded Warehousekeepers Association is one of the oldest Trade Associations for the Beverage Industry and Associated supporting companies allied to these industries, who work closely with the other Associations of Gin and Vodka, Scotch Whisky Association and Wine and Spirit Association.
A wealth of experience is available to the membership from the Distillers Brewers; Tobacco Producers to the operators of major Third Party Shared User Logistics businesses and their associated suppliers in warehouse support e.g. MHE to IT and racking manufacturers. Encompassed with this are the Advisory contacts with HMR&E, Legal and Health and Safety.
The BWA liaise with Governmental Departments namely the Treasury and provide advice on market trends, and any effects legislation would have on individual members business both Home Trade and Export.
The Association has a number of events during the year including a prestigious lunch in the House of Commons, to specific training sessions as required prior to HMC&E legislation being implemented.
The BWA has a strong membership with interesting information provided via the Associations Secretary, and would justify membership by any Company involved within these markets and sectors.
