The Annual House of Commons Lunch was held on Friday 8th May and was hosted by The Right Honourable Ann Widdecome MP for Maidstone and Weald. Once again this Flagship event proved to be very popular with over 90 members and guests attending. The day started with drinks on the Terrace overlooking the Thames, Big Ben and the London Eye followed by a first class lunch in the wonderful Churchill Rooms and finally rounded off with tours of the House of Commons and Lords. This years sponsor was the unforgettable Rt Hon Ann Widdecome MP who kept everybody captivated with her frank insight into Parliament and some personal comments on her new found career as a celebrity and a novelist
